Creating and managing events overview

The events app will help manage the variety of events a county association organises and can benefit from using standard email templates.

·        Events are displayed on a single webpage as list

·        A user can filter events – conditional on how events are categorised and tagged

·        Booking can be controlled by user type

·        Booking tickets can be free or paid

·        Number of tickets for each event can be limited

·        Automated emails can be added to event registrations to confirm booking, supply delegate packs, event reminders and post-event feedback if required but if this is     set up any non-attendees will receive the same information as those who did attend 

·        For paid events a form of invoice can be emailed on registration

·        Email notifications can be sent on registration to administrator

·        TIP – for online events through Zoom a re-occurring meeting code and password can be embedded into automated emails to delegates.

·        RECOMMENDATION – if you plan to use bespoke email templates for events these should be set up first so they can be easily added to events
