Customising Address Book Filters

There are a couple of ways to customise the filters available in the Address Book




1. Selecting which Tags are available on the filters menu


By default, the "Chair", "Clerk", etc.tags are available as filters in the drop-down. You can choose which tags are shown using the Address Book -> Configuration -> Contact Tags menu, and selecting / de-selecting the "Add Filter to Search Screen" checkbox









2. Creating and sharing new "Favourites" filters


You can set up any filter as a "Favourite" filter - to do this, filter the list as you want it (e.g. below we have created a filter to show all Clerks from Active Member councils)





To create the filter:

  • Click Favourites -> Save current search

  • Give the filter a name (e.g. Active Clerks)

  • Click "Share with All Users"





Now the filter will be available to all users under the favourites menu
