Creating and updating Enquiries from a specific email (e.g. enquiries@myalc.com)

To ensure all emails sent to enquiries@myalc.com are automatically converted into Enquiry records in Odoo, configure the Incoming Mail Server as shown in the screenshot below.

In the section Actions to Perform on Incoming Mails, select:

  • Create a New Record

  • Model: Enquiry

This configuration allows Odoo to automatically create or update Enquiry records whenever a message is received at the specified mailbox. It helps centralize all incoming customer requests and ensures no enquiry is missed.
